CYPRESS, CA DECEMBER 2016 – SOCAL OFFICE TECHNOLOGIES has been awarded a 2016 Top Workplaces honor by the Orange County Register. The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution, and Connection, just to name a few.

SoCal Office Technologies A Xerox Company (SoCal Xerox)  has been selected by the National Foundation Academy to host several education leaders on July 22, 2015 at their headquarters located at 5700 Warland Rd. Cypress CA.  SoCal Xerox has the largest and most experienced Education Team focusing on the development and promotion of education to career.

For more than half a century Xerox has been a global leader in document technology and services, employing more than 140,000 worldwide, with over 12,000 active patents.  Xerox CEO Ursula Burns is on the NAF Board of Directors and Xerox is a NAFTrack Founding Partner.  SoCal Office Technologies-a Xerox Company has been a leader in productivity and enhancement systems, cost-reducing services, and value-added document solutions since 1977.  This site visit will provide a tour of their corporate headquarters with highlights on their center for new technology, multi-function innovations, 3-D printing, training facility, innovative parts distribution, assembly, and storage and electronic document management.  Participants will also learn about industry trends, education, and training required for careers.

Denise Patko, SoCal Xerox Vice President of Human Resources is scheduled to participate in an Industry Update panel, along with leadership from Hewlett Packard Company, Verizon Communications and Lenovo North American.  This panelist opportunity is one of many opportunities for educators from July 20-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

 The National Academy Foundation (NAF) is a leader in the movement to prepare young people for college and career success.  For over 30 years, NAF has refined a proven educational model which includes industry-focused curricula, work-based learning experiences, and business partner expertise from five themes: Finance, Hospitality & Tourism, Information Technology, Engineering, and Health Sciences.  More than 5,500 business professionals volunteer in classrooms, act as mentors, engage NAF students in paid internships, and serve on local advisory boards.
